Compacting Curriculum
Sally Reis claims we can eliminate 30 to 80% of content that gifted students have already mastered at the beginning of the school year. Compacting the curriculum is all about removing the barriers and streamlining the learning so that students can run the race at the rate they are capable of. How do we do this though and enable our other students to stay on pace? Strategies will be discussed for how to navigate this balancing act.
